You're gonna have to highlight this one too.
Christmas has come and gone, and of coarse, I got some good stuff. Well we got an X-box 360 and Halo 2&3. We also got the game rock band. Everything seemed so great, but every time I pick up a controller, my parents want to play also. Its hard to teach Halo to a person who has never held a controller before. Not to mention it is frustrating beyond belief. Having to teach them Rock Band is even worse! You have to explain the rhythm patterns, and how to read the notes coming down. When I first hooked up the 360, I played Rock Band for a really long time (BY MYSELF!!!) while the rest of my family played stupid board games. I really loved the game, but now I associate playing video games with the frustration of teaching Mom & Dad (and my sister a little bit too) how to play them. Rock Band now seems really boring, and no part of me wants to play Halo because of that whole frustration thingy. Now I only want to play 1 game (ultimate alliance) because it is only single player. And my mind associates that with fun, not frustration. I really feel like my parents wasted a whole lot of money. I would have have rather just gotten more games for my completely out of date system, the old game cube.
